T&F DBL PLATE FLAT TOP FORK CROWN, EA.

T&F (Newlands and Houser) design lightweight double plate style fork crown 28.6x27.5/20 hollow, rack and fender studs cast in. Cast by Long Shen.  Fits 50mm. fender. Crown race to top of fork crown pocket 4.5mm. Crown race to center of brake bolt 14.85mm. Crown race to bottom of fork crown casting 27mm.   Center to center 78.5mm.  Note:  Brass preform is included with the crown.  Insert brass preform into groove at the bottom of the steerer pocket and it should snap in.  If it is tight I advise slightly chamfering the bottom edge of the steering column to allow complete insertion of steerer.  See photo gallery image of fork which when dynamically tested to over one hundred thousand cycles exceeded the CEN standard.  The T&F double plate fork crown was designed tough and built to last unlike shallow box section fork crowns many of which failed the dynamic testing performed on the Oregon Bicycle Constructors Association's testing rig.
